Frequently asked questions
GETTING STARTED
-
The best way to check my availability for your date is by filling out the contact form on my website. I’m currently booking 12–18 months in advance. While I don’t believe there’s a strict “wedding season,” it’s worth noting that June, September, and October tend to book up first.
If your date is available, I’ll send over my investment brochure, which should answer many of your initial questions. From there, we can schedule a call to ensure we’re a great fit.
Please avoid reaching out via DMs, texts, or Facebook messages to inquire about your date. These messages can easily get lost, and I’d hate to miss the opportunity to work with you!
-
Our first step before booking is to set up an initial phone call to discuss all the details of your wedding and ensure we’re a great fit. This can be done over Zoom, FaceTime, or a regular phone call—whatever works best for you. These calls typically last about 45–60 minutes and give us plenty of time to cover everything you need to know.
-
As we get to know each other, we'll begin discussing the details of your wedding day. I'll walk you through a sample timeline based on the information you provide. I understand that your plans may still be evolving, so nothing is set in stone, and your timeline can always be adjusted. This process is designed to give you a clearer picture of what your day might look like and help you decide how much coverage you'd like from me.
Each couple, wedding, and collection I offer is unique and customizable to suit your specific needs and vision. We'll collaborate to ensure that the photography package you choose aligns perfectly with your day, capturing every special moment in a way that reflects your love story.
My 2026 collections start at $9000. On average couples are investing $15,000 for their weekend weddings.
-
Yay! I feel so lucky and honored that you want me to document the most important day of your life! The logistics to booking is that 50% of the total amount of your collection and a signed contract is due to secure your date. You’ll e-sign the contract via my client management system and you can pay with credit card through there or mail a check (no discounts are offered for cash payments)
Preparation
-
Once all the “official paperwork” has been taken care of, we’ll schedule your engagement session. Engagement sessions are so important to me and because of this, they are in every collection I offer. This is a chance for us to hang out and get to know each other a little more. It let’s me see how the two of you interact and you’ll understand how I work behind the camera. Engagement sessions typically last 90 minutes. If you have questions on what to wear and what location to choose, we can discuss those details after we lock in your date.
-
About 8 weeks before your wedding, I’ll send you, or your planner, a questionnaire to gather all the important details—who’s who and what’s what for the big day.
If you're working with a planner, I'll collaborate with them to seamlessly integrate the photography timeline into the overall schedule. If you’re not working with a planner, no worries! I’ll use the information from the questionnaire to craft a photo timeline that outlines the flow of your day. We'll also create a family photo shot list to ensure we capture all the special family combinations you want.
Once I’ve finalized the timeline, I’ll send you a copy, and we’ll review it together during our final meeting. This way, everything will be perfectly organized, and you can enjoy your day knowing it’s all taken care of!
-
This is where we’ll get together and talk about the details of the day. We’ll discuss locations, important photos, and review the timeline together so that we are all in the know. The last thing I want to do on your wedding day is waste time thinking about locations or track down people for photos or miss something you wanted photographed. This meeting will give everyone the information to have a successful, stress free day.
-
Pop the champagne! All your hard work has paid off and today is the day that you marry your favorite person in the world! We are there for you every step of the way helping you navigate the day while photographing all the beautiful moments and details.
FINISHING UP
-
The week after your wedding you can expect a few images for a sneak peek. You’ll receive an online gallery to view your images 6-9 weeks after your wedding date. A customized thumb drive of your engagement session and wedding jpgs will arrive shortly after.
-
I do not deliver or allow my clients to view the RAW, unedited images. I select which images look best from the wedding day, edit and deliver those (trust me, you’ll see all the great moments!)
-
This depends on how long we are with you for your celebration. Typically, you can expect about 75-100 images per hour.
-
Our relationship does not end when the music stops! I’m your girl for when you start a family, for anniversary sessions, or anything in between. If you want to order an album or prints for your walls, shoot me an email and I’ll walk you through the process and custom design an album for you and help you choose the best size for your photos. If you want to grab a beer just to hang out and catch up, I’m game! I’ve built lasting relationships with all my couples and I’m so happy to hear from you after your wedding, so please don’t be a stranger!
